New deflectors for Renault windows - part 3 : manufacturing

You will find in this article a video explaining in detail how to make by yourself Renault window deflectors for 10€ only, as well as the template required for this production.

Note that if you cannot make them by yourself, these deflectors are sold by the Twizy Fans France Association

The cost of this manufacturing is around 10 € assuming of course that you have standard DIY tools (detailed in the video)

Template

Because the size of a deflector exceeds the size of an A4 sheet, I had to cut the template into 2 images that you can download from Flickr below.
Up template
Down template

It is of course essential to print these images on the right scale so that the template is the right size. The best way I've found is to open each file under Paint and go to the print preview layout and change the settings as below:

- Portrait
- Left and right margins at 0mm
- Scaling: adjust to 100% of normal size

The printing itself does not need a very high quality.
To make sure that your print is at the right scale, make sure the printed segment on the bottom right is 10 cm.
